Carlo Ewerz

General InformationThe course will be given in English if there is a demand for it, otherwise in German.
The course will be continued (Theory of the Standard Model of Particle Physics II) in the following semester in the week 24.-28. April 2006.
The two courses together are suitable for an exam (for example "Wahlfach" for diploma exam). I will not be available for exams, but several other faculty members are available for exams on these lectures. Please contact me directly if you plan to choose this course for an exam.

ContentsThe course will include an introduction to relativistic quantum field theory but with emphasis on applications rather than formal details.
Topics of Part II of the course (in summer semester 2006) will
be:
Quantum Chromodynamics, CP Violation, Neutrino Physics,
Physics Beyond the Standard Model
